Paid Courses at Passaic County Community College:
College Placement Test (Accuplacer) Refresher Courses: Math and English Refresher Courses are available through the college’s Office of Continuing Education. Each course provides 24 hours of instruction with additional online resources at a cost of $59 per course.
A+ dvancer College Readiness Online Tutorial: The college also offers an online refresher course in Math and English. This tutorial can be accessed from any internet location, and includes four sections: arithmetic, algebra, pre-calculus, and sentence skills and reading comprehension. Each section costs $55 and is available online for 90 days from the date you sign up.

Free Community Resources for Additional Basic Skills and Job Training:
Passaic County Community College’s Project LEARN: An 18-week program to prepare participants for entry-level jobs. Participants must be receiving TANF or General Assistance (GA) or have a referral from the One-Stop. Passaic County One Stop Career Centers: These centers provide basic skills instruction, job training, and English-for-the-workplace classes. St. Paul’s Community Development Corporation’s Workforce Development Program: Provides comprehensive educational programs including adult basic education, English-as-a-Second Language, GED preparation, and a program geared towards pre-occupational health services. Hispanic Multi-Purpose Service Center: Serves people of all backgrounds regardless of ethnic, racial, gender, or language background and provides adult basic education among other programs.
